Ashuapmushuan Assi

Ashuapmushuan Assi, or “The Land of Moose Watching”, draws its strength and inspiration from the rich millennia-long history of occupation by members of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh Nation living at the edge of the Ashuapmushuan Lake watershed. A natural boundary and historic meeting place between the Innu, Nehirowisiwok (Atikamekw) and Eenou (Cree) nations. Rooted in our ancestral traditions, Ashuapmushuan Assi offers unforgettable immersive stays to tourists and First Nations people who wish to experience the authenticity of the Innu culture, values and know-how, celebrating the collective heritage in deep connection to Mother Earth.

C.K. Excursions
Region: North Shore
C.K. Excursions aims at offering short boat tours in the coastal waters around Blanc Sablon and overnight tours from that will leave from the Old Fort Bay travelling to the islands around and the village of St. Augustin. Ther company will also be offering transport to Greenly Island in collaboration with the local committee who are trying to revive the buildings on the island. Our customers will have a multitude of animals to see on our tour.

Lac Cummings project
Region: James Bay
The Lac Cummings project is a multiservice project that will provide access to a wide range of infrastructure and equipment for self-guided activities, as well as top-of-the-range accommodation for tourists. All the necessary equipment will be available on site for self-guided activities (kayaking, snowshoeing, bicycles, etc.) and, on request, for more personalized activities offered on a subcontracted basis by various partners in the region.

Atelier Argon
Region: North Shore
Atelier Argon is a shipyard specializing in the construction of medium-sized aluminum boats (6 to 30 feet), as well as a design, fabrication, welding and machining shop for all metals. The new business unit aims to develop exploratory cruises on the St. Lawrence, discovering marine life, the coastline and the villages of the North Shore (Minganie, Basse-Côte-Nord and Anticosti Island).

Aventures 138
Region: North Shore
Atelier de réparation Laforge inc. is a company that brings together Atelier Laforge, a BRP and Honda snowmobile and ATV dealer, and Aventures 138, an RV, ATV and trailer dealer. The company also has a rental division for snowmobiles, Widescape, ATVs, side-by-side vehicles, trailers and caravans. The project consists in offering a discovery experience of the North Shore territory with guided tours in recreational vehicles.

Corporation touristique de Sept-Iles

As the closest island to Sept-Iles, Ile Grande Basque is a favorite spot for outdoor enthusiasts and those looking for a unique experience. In addition to the existing activities, our future plans include offering spectacular views, enhancing the marine flora and fauna, improving the hiking trails and, for the ultimate in immersion, introducing visitors to via ferrata.

Hébergement Copaco Anticosti
Region: North Shore
Hébergement Copaco Anticosti aims to develop a tourism offering that does not currently exist on Anticosti Island. The expanded excursion and accommodation offer will complement the expansion and development of a more comprehensive tourism product. To this end, the company will offer guided winter snowmobile excursions and ecotourism activities as well as VTT excursions the other seaons. It will offer groups of 6 people the chance to discover (in a 5-day package) a new face of the island and its attractions, with the aim of offering year-round activities.

Inukshuk Lodge
Region: Nunavik
Inukshuk Lodge offers catch-and-release sport fishing (anadromous arctic char), as well as observation and photography of Arctic marine wildlife in Ungava Bay and the George River estuary. The project aims at improving the quality of accommodation, becoming eco-responsible, establishing hiking paths for observing and photographing Arctic flora and fauna on the tundra (Marcol River Valley and Marais-Maritime protected area reserve), and glamping for sunsets and northern lights on the shores of Ungava Bay.

Lac Cyprès Outfitter
Region: North Shore
Lac Cyprès Outfitter offers hunting and fishing trips (May-October): bear and moose hunting, as well as brook trout, Atlantic salmon and pike fishing out of the outfitter. The company holds exclusive rights to 53.5 sq. km. The project involves the development of two certified hiking trails on the highest peak near Baie-Comeau and a trail along the east and west banks of the Rivière Godbout Nord, all within the future protected area of the Rivière Godbout valley.

Leaf River Lodge

Leaf River Lodge offers unique Atlantic salmon fishing experiences along the great Leaf River. The company has recently begun offering ecotourism packages that combine the discovery of arctic flora and fauna with an introduction to fishing. The project aims at being operational beyond September, including winter adventures such as snowmobile expeditions.

Le Chenail du Nord Outfitter

The Chenail du Nord outfitter offers hunting and fishing trips during the summer (May to October). The project is to be operational year-round, offering: quad biking, activities for retirees, canoe trips and photo safaris (summer) and off-trail snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and trapping (winter).

Les Vagues – Loisirs marins
Region: North Shore
Les vagues - Loisirs marins offers nautical adventures in the Mingan Islands and Gulf of St. Lawrence. Specializing in paddleboarding, the company offers equipment rentals, introductory courses, guided excursions and outdoor events, as well as a seasonal collection of clothing and accessories. In 2024, new services were tested: snorkeling, children's water camp, new guided tours, and coffee service in the welcome kiosk. These services will be fully implemented by 2025. The project also aims in developing a range of derivative products and offer winter activities (winter SUP, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) to provide year-round adventures. Finally, the company aims at expanding the café's menu and make it zero-waste by summer 2025.

The Mushuau-nipi Corporation offers tourist activities based on the daily life of a Native camp, traditional Innu practices and related tasks, a very special social experience centered on cultural connection and the transmission of mutual knowledge, and the discovery of natural environments typical of Northern Quebec through hiking and river excursions.

Service Maritime du Nord
Region: North Shore
Croisières Sept-Îles are specialized in zodiac excursions, offering everyone the chance to discover the Sept-Îles archipelago, observe birds and marine mammals, and admire breathtaking scenery. The company works with international cruise operators to introduce customers to the maritime territory via a tour of the 7 islands in the bay. In season, a tour with an indigenous (Innu) flavour on Île Grande Basque is also offered. Bonus: a fishing experience at sea, targeting cod and macro fish in particular!
